Hey guys! In case you missed it, click on the link below to see my Facebook Live version of our Virtual Coffee Date.

FACEBOOK LIVE VCD

Here’s some of what I talked about. Of course, I’m including a link to my “best thing I saw on the internet this week” and of course it’s Tina Fey. I swear I want to be her when I grow up! Hachette Audio has teamed up with Wattpad to bring some of their hits to life in your headphones! I listened to Blind Attraction…a NA, One Direction fanfic-ish themed audio book – all things that I normally would not partake in and, AND…I didn’t hate it one little bit! Pinky swear! My full review for Blind Attraction is going up on the blog next week but, if you want something fun to listen to this weekend, go ahead and check it out here. You’ll also find it in the table below with the list of other books I mentioned!

Any Dream Will Do by Debbie Macomber

Shay Benson adored her younger brother, Caden, and that got her into trouble. When he owed money, Shay realized she would do anything to help him avoid the men who were threatening him, and she crossed lines she never should have crossed. Now, determined to start fresh, she finds herself in search of a place to stay and wanders into a church to escape from the cold.

Pastor Drew Douglas adored his wife. But when he lost her, it was all he could do to focus on his two beautiful kids, and his flock came in a distant third. Now, as he too is thinking about a fresh start, he walks through his sanctuary and finds Shay sitting in a pew.

The pair strike up a friendship—Drew helps Shay get back on her feet, and she reignites his sense of purpose—that, over time, turns into something deeper, something soulful, spiritual, and possibly romantic. Even Drew’s two children are taken with this woman who has brought light back into their lives. Perhaps most important, Shay learns to trust again as she, in turn, proves herself trustworthy to her adopted community.

But Caden’s return to town and a disastrous secret threaten to undo the life Shay has tried so hard to rebuild. It will take the utmost courage and faith if she and Drew hope to find healing and open their hearts to a brighter future.

As always, it was great seeing you, Scandal. Sadly, I’ll miss the next one because I’ll be in Latvia.

P.S. As for my name, it’s pronounced nah-TAHL-yah. You can listen to Lilianuccia say it the way Italians do: https://forvo.com/word/natalia/#it

The best thing I saw this week was Thien and her sex toy posts! Loved them. Also I picked 4- 4L pails of sour cherries and plan on making lots of pies all winter long. I love sour cherries, and Tania lent me her cherry pitter so I was able to get them all frozen. I’m listening to Heaven and Hell by KA and I forgot just how awesome that is, I am reading the Winstons and they are adorable.
So all in all, it’s been good around here.

Hi. I’ve been reading Kay Hooper’s books this last week. The whole Bishop series didn’t do it for me but the Hagen series did!

I just finished Mississippi Blood by Greg Iles and these stores have been heartbreaking with how blacks and whites were treated in the ’60s along with the present day. I think I’ve read all of his books and he’s a great writer.
I’m busy at work with getting offices changed out, repairs, painting, etc. for a new employee in a couple of weeks. This week the office next to me had leaking pipes with the AC (our building on campus is about 80+ years old) so carpet is wet in our offices. This seemed to trigger my allergies and had to go to the Dr. today for an upper respiratory infection, both ears full of fluid, etc. BUT, it means that I can get some extra reading in and have books from the library ready to read – Lisa Scottoline’s Exposed and Karin Slaughter’s The Good Daughter. But may take a nap first!
