I’m hooked, completely sucked in and I need to know who “The Master” is. NEED. TO. KNOW!! I literally scratched out 5 pages of notes from this little ditty. Stop what you are doing right now and go mark your calendar, set an alarm on your phone for Monday, January 28th. Trust me when I say, this will be a topic of discussion for the Feb. 1st Friday’s Virtual Coffee Date – we are going to have so much to discuss people. You’ve been warned so come prepared. We need to sort this out, I’ve already started naming my gray hairs after Ms. Jones and the characters in these books! I’m going to share with you a little of what I gleaned from the pages of Rebecca’s journals but I need you to read it and tell me what you think. Let’s Nancy Drew this together, shall we?
Okay, here are some things I learned about Rebecca. Her mom died recently, it was a single parent situation and she’s pissed at her mom for a variety of things. Until The Master, Rebecca had only been with three men, she’s 22 years old. We see all of the usual suspects from If I Were You except for Sara of course. Rebecca details interactions with Mark, Chris, Ava, Ricco and a new guy, Josh. I don’t recall Josh from If I Were You, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. Josh is a rich banker dude she’s fucking and apparently he’s quite smitten with her AND he has amazing tongue skills. We do get Rebecca’s intimate thoughts as she recounts her first sexual encounter with The Master. It’s crazy hot. Scandaliciously hot. For now, all I’m going to say is I think we might need to pay attention to the color red. That’s all I’ve got…or at least it’s all I’m willing to share in this review. We can decode the hell out of it once you guys get a chance to read it. I’m not even joking, get it on the 28th, read it and take copious notes. I’m chomping at the bit for Volume 2, The Contract in mid February.
Once Being Me is released in June, Ms. Jones is setting up a spoiler page on her website. I believe she has the bones of it set up here. Bookmark it. Trust me, I tried to get some goods from her but Ms. Jones is an excellent secret keeper. She’d only tell me she has BIG clues in each of her journals but she can’t even point them out because it would give too much away. So take the journey, come Nancy Drew with me – it’ll be fun. Together we can figure this out…and if we can’t, well, at least we can hold each other.

Great review! I felt the same way – after I finished it I wanted to go back and re-read If I Were You just to see if any of the clues make more sense. I have my suspicions (and maybe a little bit of wishful thinking) as to who I think the Master is, but I’ll remain quiet…for now

I know who I don’t want the Master to be…. Don’t think Josh was mentioned in IIWY (not that I can remember anyway) but then I wondered about the boyfriend that took Sara’s friend/neighbour away on holiday.
These Journals are gonna be a great addition to the Inside Out Trilogy.. Can’t wait to get my hands on The Seduction! x

How’s this for a theory, what if Chris was her first encounter but he “loaned” her out to someone and that someone is who she’s with now…maybe? thoughts?
